Completely broke this year? No - cost vacation ideas!

At times, our budget is stretched beyond its borders. I have been there many times. Even if I do my best to leave my children a decent, can not always list my money for adults. What I do in this case? Here are some ideas for holiday at no cost I've used over the years. You're always a great success I often wonder why I return to my routine of traditional holiday, but old habits die hard.

1. Good or bonds

Buy a smallKnitting or jewelry gift box from the dollar store and fill it with promissory notes.

For example, some known to be my boyfriend a promise to wash cars, clean their bathroom (they need it, trust me) to do his laundry for a week of cooking up a batch of cookies to make it a special or Eating give him a nice back rub. You can throw in some bold notes for our partners always appreciate them! ;-)

With my friends who can offer their pets or aquatic plants, to see if they go on vacation, bringsome chicken noodle soup and a book of crossword puzzles when they are sick, then bake a casserole one night do not have to cook, babysitter, or if you want a night out.

For an elderly neighbor, I offered some errands on foot with their dogs and remove some unnecessary programs and viruses on your computer.

* A word of warning here: Do not bid more than you can give. Some notes are really nice taken up and used quickly, but do not take intothe process as it tries to satisfy everyone.

2. Send e-cards

The cost of stamps is rising every year and if you have ten or twenty people on your list, which can add up! Not to mention the cost of the card to send e-cards, they seem pretty lazy or in bad taste, but if you broke it is the only way to make your loved ones a Merry Christmas wish without agents! I love the free e-cards http://www.Hallmark.com

Be sure to personalize each e-card insteadSending a mass e-mail. People appreciate the personal note from you let them know what you are interested, and maybe share a warm and funny memories you have of them. Last year I had my daughter remembers how we all laughed when we went sledding and overturned, slid down the hill and got his pants on the road!

3. Write an eBook

No, do not have to be Stephen King or Hemingway. Anyone can make a nice ebook with little effort and only a few hours. You canCreate an eBook of favorite recipes, quotes, a collection of useful articles, or anything else, a special person can be. Use photos for free from sites like http://www.FreeRangeStock.com then turn it into a PDF file fast and easy way http://www.FreePDFConverter.com No, you do not need it in a PDF file again, but looks more professional that way. :) I have an ebook of favorite family recipes to my daughter last year and she loved him.

4. Create aCollage

Here are some favorite photos duplicated and pasted on a sheet of cardboard. The no-cost gift may seem a bit 'of cheese, but everyone loves to see pictures of people who are important to them, or pictures, special memories. I have a collage for my mother a year with photos of all her grandchildren and has a funny way to tell or a memory that we all share. I've written on little slips' of cardboard and pasted below some of the photos. E 'was hung on a wall of his bedroom, whereHe could see every day.

5. Offer your services

This kind of falls in the same area as the proposal IOU, unless someone was able to provide a finished project, based on area of expertise. If you are a mechanic, you can bid for an oil change done. I'm really good at math or history? For some teachers still in school. I wrote several articles for free sites. My son-in-law took some professional photos for a friend. Think of somethingThey are good and offer their services for free.

6. What about the Christmas tree?

If you bust, buying expensive that only a tree die within a week or so the last thing on your list. However, it is part of the holiday tradition. If you absolutely have the money to a tree, here are some ideas.

Go to a Christmas tree lot and ask if you need to have some branches cut off. Tie some branches together with twine or twist and aGarland or branch and then with what ornaments to decorate around. No, this is not a Christmas tree, but it is still party anyway!

Another idea is to create a tree or shrub that you have in your front yard or growing decoration. My oleander tree looked very festive for the year!

A large system might be a Christmas tree stand if you have at home. I've never been so lucky, because I tend not to kill shed.

7. Homemade Gifts

OK, I said thisno-cost ideas and this is a type of stretching, but if you provide a craft or cooking for the house they used to their advantage. Everyone loves handmade goodies, if you knit a scarf or a batch of sugar cookies. Every time I broke I'm in a mode of crafting and start thinking about things I can do for the people on my list. There are more people to give gifts, the sooner you start or you will be stressed in a hurry. Afghans are never on my list!

8.Start new holiday traditions

Instead of mourning for the lack of money, use your imagination and come up with some new traditions and fun way to share with family. Sing Christmas holidays together, string popcorn and hang on the tree (if you have one this year), are on Christmas Eve, the night playing board games or hang out and look at the decorated houses and then go home have hot chocolate. Making special memories are what's past in our heads, while expensiveThe gifts are quickly forgotten. I can not remember what I got for Christmas last year, but I remember how we tried to make our hand, vegan tamales! My girls and I had a great time preparing, and it was pretty good.

Who says Christmas has to be expensive? It just takes a bit 'of talent and you can probably find a dozen other ideas free holiday. In the process, create memories that last a lifetime.
